Specializing in landscape and West Coast subjects in a realistic, his objective is to provide people with an opportunity to view the world around them by creating works that can stir the emotions. His focus is primarily on landscape and seascape themes that focus on Canada’s fabulous West Coast scenery.
Joe received his art education at The Montreal Museum of Fine Art. Over the years he has worked as a commercial artist, photographer and designer. He also spent many years working in the daily newspaper industry rising to a senior executive position in Hamilton, Ontario.
In 1996 he decided to leave the newspaper industry and return to his roots as a fine artist.
Moving to British Columbia in 2002, he has participated in many group shows and has had numerous solo exhibitions. His work can be found in private and corporate collections around the world.
The studio and gallery are located in a separate custom built 1000 sq. ft. building at the back of the property.
